Southwest Electric Cooperative came into existence in October of 1939 and has been providing electrical service to rural members since. We serve members in eleven counties with over 5300 miles of line and nearly 40,000 meters. Our headquarters office is located in Bolivar, Missouri.  There are three district offices, one located in Preston, a second office just north of Springfield, and the third office located at the intersection of highways J & 7, in Camden county. Southwest Electric Cooperative is dedicated to providing the best, most reliable service possible for our members.
